Pretty pouch embroidery

pochette pour Nokinomo
stitched by emmachoc

Does anyone know who / what Nokinomo is? In any case, there's a very sweet free pattern to make this. The PDF is in French but the language of cross stitch is international. It would be easy to embroider some initials or the name of a loved one in the middle instead. Get the pattern! (téléchargez le doc ici is French for Download the pattern)

  1. Go to google search, there is a small writing on this page for language tools, click & try to find it thru translations of the word. I see it on there but didn't take time to go any further in the search.

  2. Perhaps it's the name of the pink dragon in the pattern?

  3. Seems to be the name of the website. I think it is a bit like saying, "what does microsoft mean?"

    The flickr photo discription reads:

I made this little pouch for Nokinomo. A small dragon, tentacles, some flowers.
I set the grid free online here:

  5. I thought this company's name and mission was kind of cool (and I looove the dragon pouch, phoenix next please?), so I translated it for you!

Nokinomo conçoit et réalise des dispositifs interactifs sans souris ni clavier (NOKEYboard, NOMOuse... NOKINOMO).

    >> [This company] Nokinomo conceptualises and creates interactive deployments without keyboard or mouse. (NOKEYboard, NOMOuse... NOKINOMO).

Expert en interactivité, Nokinomo développe des outils innovants au service de la créativité, de l’architecture, de la communication et du marketing.

Sounds seriously cool. Hence, the little pouch! Shows that they are 'artistic and creative' in getting their brand out there, and provides an example of a type of creative marketing. Smart. I am swapping it out for other names, but, totally cute!
