Free patterns from Carina

Free pattern - Parterre du Feu

Our own Carina is sharing some beautiful free patterns over on her blog. There's flowers, geometric and even a penguin pattern! They look beautiful, simple and inspiring...

Fruity geometric embroidery

I really love her stitching on this one, by the way - I like how her satin stitch is almost, but not quite filled in...

Go get the patterns!

Re-introducing: Carina

Tree of Life embroidery
Stitched by Carina

A few more re-introductions are in order this week as we celebrate all the new and current bloggers on Feeling Stitchy! Next is Carina, or Wardi, as she calls herself on Flickr. Her blog has always been a huge inspiration to me - she is an artist with a gorgeous sense of color and unbelievable energy for creating. She has a shop with beautiful, elaborate patterns like the one above, and she is always up to something new. It's an honor to have Carina with us!

Your favorite embroidery project? Tree of Life (above), one of my first patterns.

Your inspirations? Nature, folk art, history, colour...
