    Brings back many memories of when Mother desperately tried to get me to learn HOW TO do these lovely kinds of projects ... stitching, knitting, sewing, crocheting, etc.

    I love the idea of introducing 'real' crafts to children. My daughter is still working on those lacing cards which she calls her 'embroidery work'. :D

    My daughter likes to "help" with my embroidery, helping pull the needle up after I've gotten it far enough that I can cover the point. This photo is so sweet.
