Thursday: Introducing Bridget

Slap Chop stitch
Stitched by beefranck

I'm constantly inspired by Bridget, or beefranck, as you may know her from Mr X Stitch, Phat Quarter (on Flickr), and her Flickr stream. Her sense of humor, bizarre quotations, and infomercial references have me rolling on the floor on a daily basis. :) That, and her cross stitching is gorgeously detailed and meticulous. So excited to have her talent here!

Here's a mini-interview with Bridget to get you started!

What will you be blogging on? Snarky stitching

Your favorite DMC floss color? 316 - antique mauve

Your favorite embroidery project?
The Hell sampler:
Hell in a frame

Your inspirations?
I'm amazed and inspired by all of the talented people I've come into contact with through Craftster, flickr, and MrXStitch over the last couple of years.

Your shop and blog urls:
I blog at mrxstitch.com, sell some patterns through the MrXStitch etsy store:  and you can see the stuff I've made here (sorry for all the links!)

Any swaps / projects you're involved in?
I'm pretty much constantly swapping, both personal swaps and swaps for the MrXStitch flickr group - my most recent swap was with an author who is writing me a story in return for my stitch! :)

One word answer:
Freehand or pattern? pattern
Messy or neat? neat
Cute or edgy? both!

Welcome Bridget! Can't wait to see more of you!
