December Stitch Along

I can't believe December is already here and the holidays are coming up fast. I'm not ready! This month's stitch along is all about ornaments. I love homemade ornaments and stitchy ones are even better. I am a sucker for the vintage holiday images and between Floresita and myself, we have managed to compile a few of our favorite vintage images for the stitch along. The great thing about these images is that you don't have to use them just to decorate for the holidays, you can leave them up all year long to remind you of that special time of year.

  2. Love these! I used the first two from Floresita a couple of years ago and stitched my Mama a dish towel. I'll have to snap a shot of it to add to the collection! These patterns are SO cute! Happy Wednesday!

  4. Love the vintage patterns. I am working on a Vintage quilted wall hanging which has incorporated the first set of patterns into it. I am so loving it.

  6. :-) So cute! The big gingerbread boy reminds me of "Big Baby" on Toy Story 3, for some reason! They eyes, maybe? My favorite: that little kid in the bunting snowsuit with the pom-pom hat - Ralphie's brother, from Christmas Story? (Sorry.... movies on the brain this evening, I guess.)

Fun patterns! Great idea for a stitch-along!

  7. How to get the larger version of the patterns:

Click on each image, it will take you over to Flickr. Above the image there's an "Actions" button, click on this and you'll see an option to "View all sizes".

Click on this link and you'll be taken to a page where you can pick different sizes of the pattern image.

Drag the image you want to your desktop or right-click with your mouse and click on "Save file as". Once saved to your computer you can print the image and start stitching.

    Happy stitching! :-)
