Get Your Stitch On

Neato 70's-looking illustration all embroidered up. I think this gal is fretting to a friend about feeling "fresh". I especially love that it's stitched over a pink check in stark black and red. Do you think that hair is solidly stitched or if theginchiest appliquéd fabric? Maybe she can tell us. Reminds me of "Get Your War On"!

  1. Oh my gosh I am so flattered and excited!!! It was done all with stitches no appliqué. I love what you said about her talking to a friend about feeling “fresh”! I was trying to imagine what she might be talking about and I think you got it right.

  5. bo betsy, I used a simple split stitch on her hair. To keep the hair looking like hair I separated my thread and only used 3 out of the 6.
Thank you everyone for your kind words!!!
