Stitched QR code

QR code - Flash code, originally uploaded by Pichu71.
Oh I like this! Stitching a QR code, c'est génial!

What's a QR code? Wikipedia has the answer!

"A QR Code, also known as a Box Code, is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data."

PS. Check this post for a link to a QR code generator.

  1. OMG, I MUST make this. I have this crazy idea to do little bits of fiction with QR codes and I'd love to have a cross stitched one!

Thank you so much for the idea.

  2. Oh, this is so neat! My cell phone was able to read the QR code from the screen. It says "Joyeux anniversaire Hatim !"

Thanks so much for this - My husband's birthday is in a little under 2 weeks & if I can figure out how to make the code, I'm going to do one for him.
