Glad to be here!

Hello and happy Tuesday, stitchers!

Big thanks to Floresita for having me and for the nice intro. I'm so excited to be here on Feeling Stitchy and look forward to bringing some great things to the table.

My background in the Flickr and Craftster circles have largely been in the areas of sewing and quilting. I've been interested in embroidery and inspired by the projects here on Feeling Stitchy for quite some time now but only recently started working on embroidery projects of my own. Needless to say, I've caught the bug and find myself constantly thinking about my next stitching project!

I'm looking forward to posting in this space on two different topics. First, I'd really like to explore the projects that are being created at the intersection of sewing, quilting, and hand embroidery. I'm a designer fabric junkie and I love finding those projects that combine a piece of stitching with an inspired collection of fabrics to create something that is so much greater than the sum of its parts. I hope that my posts will highlight quilts, pillows, bags, home decor items, wall hangings, and other projects that will inspire you to try something new on your next embroidery project.

Secondly, I want to shine a light on the many men that are creating and sharing their am
azing embroidery projects each and every day. Are you a "manbroiderer", or do you know one that should be highlighted on Feeling Stitchy? Let me know!

I very much look forward to spending more time here at Feeling Stitchy and sharing my work and passion with all of you. Also, please come visit me at my blog, Quilt Dad.

Have a great week, everyone!
