April Showers Stitch Along

Everyone knows that April showers bring May flowers. What better way to celebrate spring and the rainy season for some than with this wonderful stitch along pattern from Digital Misfit.

I've decided to transfer my pattern using water soluble stabilizer. I simply traced the pattern onto the stabilizer and secured it with my hoop. I decided to start the middle to anchor the fabric and the stabilizer. After I am completely finished I wills wash away the stabilizer and have a wonderful piece of embroidery...I should probably stop here, before I get ahead of myself.
I can't wait to see how everyone stitches up this wonderful Spring shower.

  5. April showers do bring May flowers but we've been having crazy weather here! It hailed like mad and there was lightening too! One day it will be in the mid 60's and then in the low 30's!

  11. This is my favorite way to transfer designs. I also use a temporary, water soluble adhesive if I don't hoop. This is especially handy if you are transferring to fabric that is not a smooth finish! NOTE: use an INDELIBLE marker so that the ink doesn't run when you rinse out the stabalizer! I use a Sharpie.
