Hello from Craftster land!

Tea Towel Love (Part 1)

I love tea towels - I have many from my grandmother, including days of the week and many more that she embroidered when she was first married (she's almost 95 now). They have a special place in my heart. Green crafting

Today I went looking for embroidered art in the pool in one of my favourite colours. I found some wonderful pieces of art. One photo is not really an embroidery, but I thought the photo of merwing's studio looked so inspiring and since it was green I had to allow it in my mosaic. And it shows a simple and good looking way of hanging your works in progress. If you want more inspiration for your craft room, there is a flickr group for this purpose as well. Happy crafting!

A drink by the embroidery pool

It's been a warm day so I felt like a drink by the pool. Since there were mostly hot drinks to be found I had to add some strawberries to get some freshness. If you want to be unique - start a juice or lemonade embroidery in time for Summer! I've had so much tea I really need something cold! I have no idea why oh Judy's picture make lemonade wont show up! But you'll have to go and see it, it's very cooling. Enjoy the weekend!
