Happy Easter everyone! I know it's a bit too late for even the speediest of stitchers to stitch anything for Easter now, but here's some suggestions to bookmark for next year! First up is Bunny in a hoop by Down Grapevine Lane, a free pattern that comes with a great tutorial. I love the french knots, they remind me of hama beads!

Next up is this free pattern by LiliPopo, isn't she sweet? Here is in an in progress shot of me stitching the pattern through paper onto felt.

Patterns: Bunny and her teacups

Last October, artist and illustrator Catherine Young from Bumpkin launched her first embroidery pattern, Bunny and her teacups. I've seen this pattern pop up in a few places since Christmas and I couldn't resist showing it here. Fingers crossed for more Bumpkin embroidery patterns!

Superbunny

Unfortunately I can't bring you your weekly dose of new embroidery pattern today, as I can't find any to blog about, so instead I thought I'd bring you . . . . . . Superbunny!

Superbunny by Dozydotes

Superbunny is an original design by Dozydotes, apparently she had trouble with this piece, posting a picture of the same piece a day earlier saying she wasn't happy with it. I think both photos look great, I love all that fill stitch and how dynamic Superbunny is as he reaches for the stars!

There have been two great patterns recently released using fantastic embroidered fur. Both .pdf patterns; Bunny and Balloons by Bustle and Sew and Forty Winks Fox by Follow the White Bunny, come with detailed how-tos to embroider the fur. I think they both look very sweet.
